I was let go from a technology leadership position I enjoyed during a reorganization late in 2024. After taking some time off for myself following 21 years of working for that company, I have started looking for my next challenge. I understand it might not even be a technology-related position I end up in, but as long as I can derive meaning from the role and utilize my skills to add value, I will be happy.
During this search, I have realized that my career has gone from figuring out how technology works to how people work. That in turn led to my love of leadership. I love a challenge, and building a team and systems within that team to address the challenge. If you can have some fun along the way, and keep a positive attitude, even better!
